Grab Share is a pooling service by Grab that allows passengers to share the ride and the fare while drivers get to earn more by picking up multiple passengers going the same way.

It is in this context that this escalated argument between a Grab driver and one of his passengers happened, while the other passenger filmed it down.

Here is the video uploaded by Twitter user, and one of the passengers, Muhdefran.

We've transcribed the exchange as heard on the video.

Scene 1

We start off with a disjointed clip, that kind of makes the whole exchange even more surreal.

Grab Driver (GD): This is LKY (Twirls finger)

Scene 2

GD: Citizenship like him, but actually Singaporeans don't like him.

Passenger: But the people who vote are not PR, right?

GD: Whaaa you knowww, those people who are vote.

It is important to note that, you knowwwww, PRs cannot vote.

Scene 3

(Agitated voices)

GD: You understand me.

*Muffled voices*

GD: You go? You go? You want to get out of here?

Passenger: You can?

GD: Can. You can? Yeah ok, go.

The Grab driver proceeds to drop him off at the highway.

Scene 4

GD: You Indian(s) are rubbish.

GD: (Talking to himself) Ahhhh.

Chennai Business Park

In case you were still wondering what the argument was about, perhaps this will help source out the underlying issue.

According to the same Twitter user, the Grab driver had also made allusions to "Chennai Business Park".

Which is a term used by people who feel Changi Business Park has too many foreigners of the South Asian persuasion.
