List of supermarkets open during Chinese New Year 2017 here.
Singaporeans whose favourite pastime is taking a stroll in supermarkets can look forward to plenty of outlets remaining open and operating as usual this Chinese New Year season.
NTUC FairPrice
More than 57 FairPrice stores will stay open longer and close at 11pm or midnight in the week leading up to Chinese New Year.
A total of 83 FairPrice stores will run for 24 hours on Thursday, Jan. 26.
On Jan. 28 and 29, the first and second days of Chinese New Year, 25 of its stores will remain open.
Normal operating hours resumes on Jan. 30.
Giant
Giant Hypermarkets have extended operating hours since Jan. 13.
All Giant stores will open as usual on the first two days of Chinese New Year.
Cold Storage
Seven Cold Storage outlets will remain open 24 hours a day from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29.
The outlets are at Kallang's Aperia Mall, Cluny Court, Holland Village, Jelita Shopping Centre in Holland Road, Rail Mall at Upper Bukit Timah, Serangoon's Nex shopping mall and Siglap Village.
