Water bottle is tired. Water bottle needs a seat.

Singaporeans aren't big fans of conflict, talking to strangers, or public transport.

Combine those three factors and you have a recipe for disaster passive aggressive glances.

Twitter user Faiz made an interesting observation on this subject while on a train ride himself.

For some reason, there was a water bottle on an empty seat.

No harm, no foul, pick it up and sit down right?

Nope.

In case you can't view the pictures.

As you can tell, there are quite a number of passengers standing up, instead of, you know, moving the empty water bottle and sitting down.

We know talking to people might be a bit of a stretch, so here's another way easier method to get your seat without ever asking for it.

Getting a seat on the train.

1. Find a pregnant lady.

2. Place her in front of the commuter/ water bottle that refuses to move.

3. Wait for a righteous netizen to be offended.

4. Hopefully a media outlet picks it up.

5. After a prolonged tussle with online backlash, the water bottle grows depressed.

6. And picks up a drinking habit.

7. Before finally deciding that enough is enough.

8. And ends it all.

He was so young...

Or, you know, just ask someone for a seat next time.
