If you haven't heard the news by now, mega pop star George Michael has passed away peacefully at his home on Christmas (Dec. 25).

This probably comes as a huge shock to the most of us who grew up listening to his former band Wham!, or have been influenced by his music one way or another.

Here are 12 prolific songs from his career with Wham! and solo works that you'll probably be playing on repeat, and shedding a few tears over.

1) Wake me up before you Go-Go

For most Singaporeans, he didn't wake us up before he go-go.

2) Careless Whisper

Even if you or your friends didn't know this was the song, surely everyone knows that classic, sexy saxaphone intro by heart.

Um, but an embarrassing Singapore Idol audition cover? Not so much.

3) Freedom

Nothing as carthartic as that powerful voice freeing you from whatever that was holding you down when you listened to this song. Freeeedom.

4) Club Tropicana

We can only wonder if heaven is Club Tropicana now.

But we gotta have -

5) Faith

That intro with church organs transitioning into funky guitar and tambourines. Now that's some music that makes you believe.

6) Father Figure

Where George Michael played a really sensual cab driver. Might be creepy if your uber driver plays this though.

7) Fast Love

Groovy, and the lyrics? Definitely not for the conservative.

8) Too Funky

Many super models were featured here, such as Tyra Banks and Linda Evangelista. Needless to say, this video was full of glam.

9) One More Try

Because hey, what's being an artist in the 80s and 90s without one power ballad?

10) Everything She Wants

Best sung when you have a demanding lady boss.

11) I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)

Two powerhouses = instant goodness.

12) Last Christmas

Alas, it indeed was his last Christmas.

Rest in Peace, George Michael. You'll be missed.
