Pokémon Go finally releases new features to retain trainers

About two months late, but that's okay.

After losing players faster than they can count, game developer Niantic has finally come up with something they think might retain its current players -- and maybe even entice those who have given up to return to the game.

According to Otakukart.com, the new version will feature daily quests that will dish out rewards and help seasoned players level up quicker.

For example, catching a Pokémon every day will earn you the following bonus:

500 XP

600 Stardust

Catching a Pokémon for seven days straight will earn the you a larger bonus:

2,000 XP

2,400 Stardust

We suggest more interaction with caught Pokemon, though.

Or maybe giving players a real Pokemon tracker?

Will this latest move save Niantic? Probably not.
