As the National Gallery Singapore celebrates their first anniversary, the rest of us get to join in at the Night to Light Festival -- an in-house art fest spanning two weekends in Nov. 25-27 and Dec. 2-4.
Even if the idea of a museum might seem a little different for a night out, the interactive installations and whimsical sights on offer might be a stimulating change from the usual dinner and/or movie routine.
Best of all? The 60 plus programmes on offer are free (except for the food, of course).
So here are 6 things to like at the National Gallery's first anniversary festival even if you're not arty-farty:
1. Festival hipster food street
With vendors like Gallery and Co., Ninja Bowl, and Steamhaus, you can look forward to bites like salted egg yolk soft shell crab Buns, beef cubes with buttery mashed potatoes, and a good donburi. Yum.
