The foreign workers from South Asia are literally the ones building up Singapore.
Being away from home for long periods of time and slogging it out in the hot sun daily is tough.
It becomes especially challenging when traditional festivities come around and they are unable to celebrate with their loved ones.
Which is why this story is kind of awesome.
Enter Goldfield Construction
Goldfield Construction's boss, decided to do a little something special for Deepavali.
Twitter user Perlina, posted a series of tweets showing the incredible party her dad (the boss), threw for his workers.
