On Saturday, we told you about the boss of a construction company who threw his workers a kickass Deepavali party.
While things like catered buffets are awesome, it was perhaps the fact that the boss went out of his way to ensure his workers could celebrate a day that is special to them that deserved the most applause.
So, can a party without a budget like that be just as awesome?
Based on Twitter user Frank's tweets, yes, yes it can.
Budget Deepavali FTW
A group of NSFs are over in America for training, and unfortunately the dates coincided with this year's Deepavali.
Which would probably have been quite difficult for the NSFs who do celebrate the occasion.
That is, unless you have the best NS mates.

A few great touches we spotted in the room.
1. Hand-drawn and coloured Singapore flag; much patriotism.
2. IKEA-style candles that look amazing.
3. Crushed yellow construction paper on the wall that look surprisingly good.
Friend's reaction when he saw this amazing budget party?
Priceless.
