Vaguely Singaporean singer Natalie Ong has been eliminated from The X Factor Australia after the first live show of the competition.

Her departure from the show on Monday, Oct. 24, came after she performed When Love Takes Over, a song by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland, the day before.

During the results show, three other contestants were eliminated along with her.

Her previous two performances saw her easily become one of the top 12 finalists in the singing competition.

The only way back for the 15-year-old, who was born in Singapore but based in Melbourne now, is to make a comeback in a wildcard round.
