Our Paralympians did us proud at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, and as part of their victory parade on 24 September, they were chauffeured in Ferrari cars by drivers from the Ferrari Owners' Singapore Club.
According to the Straits Times, these drivers volunteered their services to honour our Paralympians with something "memorable in [their] own small way".
An amazing, heartwarming gesture.
Most of us would take no issue with our Paralympians being honoured in this way. But not Twitter user @emmanueljeanlau.
He had a few bones to pick with the victory parade.
First, he lamented the extravagance of the parade, using mathematics.
He also explained why able-bodied people were at a disadvantage compared to disabled people.
Before letting his buddy, mathematics, down (S$1 million > $200,000):
A running theme among his tweets was the injustice to Joseph Schooling:
Able-bodied rules!
Then, he ended his rant with this delightful advice.
He has since deleted his Twitter account with a speed that, likely according to him, a disabled person could never replicate.
