Most people who lived through the noughties will remember the era of street magicians.
That was when people, who were growing dissatisfied with the predictable antics of regular magicians such as David Copperfield, turned to an edgier brand of magic.
Names like David Blaine and Criss Angel (Mindfreak) come to mind as two of the biggest names of that era.
They did some weird stuff like levitating in front of a paid an unsuspecting crowd, detaching the heads of pigeons and various other small animals, and even walking on water.

Ooooh... sacrilegious.
Singapore's own Mindfreaks
Well, while the street magician scene might not be as popular as it once was, a few boys in Sentosa proves that the art form is far from dead.
Twitter user A2RIJU5LI, posted a video showcasing the Singaporean version of street (beach?) magic, Criss Ashlly.
They have the freaked out audience, the pseudo heavy metal song, and the brooding master magician.
The video shows Criss Ashlly's entourage burying the Singaporean Mindfreak in heaps of sand.
What happened next will shock you.
