Someone asked pilots about their favourite airport and Changi got the best free publicity ever

Changi Airport is well known to be a paragon of cleanliness, and efficiency.

In fact, in the 2015 World Airport Awards (TIL there is a World Airport Awards), Changi unsurprisingly came in first.

But, while all these corporate awards are all well and good, nothing really compares to a spontaneous reaffirmation on the quality of your establishment by the people you cater to.

What's your favourite airport?

That was what a Reddit post to R/askreddit asked pilots on the site.

The very best answer on that thread reads like a promotional writeup by Changi itself.

changi-best

A point that was quickly brought up by another Reddit user.

And that might very well have been the case, were it not for the fact that Changi as a preferred destination was a sentiment shared pretty much across the board.

With some even finding a pun to express their love for the airport.

Public goodwill

This is amazing for the very reason that you cannot buy this kind of good press. Or as a Redditor put it in a rather graphic manner:

Nasty.

Well done Changi airport, and we hope you enjoy this spontaneous bit of very deserved publicity.
