And he sings in English and Mandarin.

Nathan Hartono continues to surprise his Chinese audience with yet another Mandarin/English mashup in his latest performance on Sep 16 at Sing!China, China's version of The Voice.

He started out slow, crooning something about the moonlight.

Have you seen his aunty-killer skills?

Then he threw in a little of his mouth-trumpet to the tune of What A Wonderful World, y'know, cos singing is too mainstream. That's before he broke out into beatboxing.

And because Hartono is Singaporean and Singapore is all about multiculturalism, of course he has to sing something in English. That's when he pulled out all the stops, belting out Michael Bublé's Moondance like he was serenading the Goddess of the Moon Chang'e, which we must admit, is something he does much better.

And there's no way to end this performance except with a big bang.

In this episode, Hartono was pitted against fellow contestant Lin Kai Lun. After performing for a panel of judges, Hartono won with 41 votes against Lin's 10 votes. Looks like we'll be seeing more of Hartono and his mouth trumpet very soon.
