Central Perk cafe has announced it is aiming to open on Nov. 24 at Central Mall, 1 Magazine Road, #01-01.

A crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to bring the Friends-themed cafe to life was first announced in June.

The tentative opening date was initially set for March next year, but has been brought forward as response, both monetary and in kind, have been overwhelming.

The Friends-inspired cafe is the brainchild of Lim Jit Min, 28. He has since been joined by two other investors.

Fans of Friends can expect to find the trademark orange couch, coffee bar and the iconic Central Perk logo as part of the realistic recreation of the show's set in the cafe in Singapore.

The cafe will also serve their own interpretation of food seen in the sitcom series.

Friends first aired in 1994 and concluded its run in the 10th and final season.
