On the same day as the recall of L-theanine-laced Taiwan milk tea, The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has issued another post advising a voluntary recall of King's Potong ice cream.

This was after a member of the public complained that a metal nut was found in a bar of King’s Potong Red Bean Ice Confection. As a precautionary measure, the below King's Ice confection products with expiry dates before July 22, 2018 are being recalled:

-Potong Red Bean Ice Confection (Multipack and single)

-King’s Potong Black Glutinous Rice/Yam (Multipack)

-King's Potong Durian (Multipack)

-King’s Potong Red Bean & Cempedak (Multipack)

-King's Potong Teh Tarik (Multipack)

-King's Potong Black Glutinous Rice (Single)

-King's Fruity Lime (Multipack)

If you have bought any of the above products recently, please do not consume them. You may contact F&N Creameries Singapore at 6261 3133 or [email protected] for enquiries or exchange of products.

More details of the affected product can be found here.
