A Shin Min News Daily Chinese article published on omy.sg on July 30, 2016, contained the above undated image of an almost naked guy, with the caption that he took his clothes off as "punishment".

The photo is causing a bit of a stir but for the benefit of anyone who needs a translation, this is what the article said:

- Intro paragraph: Following allegations that students had their heads pressed into toilet bowl, stripping naked as punishment and girls wearing thongs to the beach, the National University of Singapore has suspended their freshmen orientation activities.

- Next few paragraphs: A recap of what has happened in the news the last few days.

- Ending paragraphs: A student who previously organised freshmen orientation activities in NUS spoke to Shin Min Daily News on the condition of anonymity, provided "insider information" on what he knew regarding the freshmen orientation activities of various faculties and halls.

- This student had himself participated in freshmen orientation activities more than 30 times.

- From what he knew, generally speaking, faculty-organised freshmen orientation activities are more "law-abiding", whereas Sheares Hall activities are the most daring.

There is no mention of where and when the above photo was taken.
