Video of SIA plane engine bursting into flames with passengers inside is absolutely terrifying

Luckily, no one was hurt.

This must be one of the scariest experiences ever.

According to a Channel News Asia, earlier today at around 2.05am, a SIA plane, flight SQ368 departed Changi Airport for Milan.

2 hours in, the plane apparently had to turn back due to a leakage of oil, which is a frightening enough proposition.

Things took an even more drastic turn when upon landing, the plane engine burst into flames.

The passengers inside apparently had to wait five minutes in a plane that was literally on fire, as the fire fighters and engines placed the fire out.

This was a Facebook post by the moderator of premiummalls.sg, a Facebook page on shopping in Europe, who was on the plane at that time.

I just escaped death!!!!

Our Singapore Airline plane was leaking oil 3 hours flying off and the plane had to turned back. After reaching Changi Airport, as the plane was landing, the engine burst into flames!!!! Huge fire was burning! See video!

It was a heart wrenching 5 mins! Waiting for the fire engine and fire fighters to put out the fire! They shot foam and water into the fire and eventually it was put out! We were so close to death!! I am still in the plane with all passengers. But I think we are safe for now....they will be evacuating us soon.

I thank God I am alive! I going home to hug my kids.... Europe Sale has to wait for a while. Sorry everyone!

And here is the video of the plane wings on fire.

Thankfully, no one seemed to be injured in that incident.
