Facebook user Jonathan Low shared an album of over 100 screen shots of Facebook conversations several potential victims had with an individual by the name of Chris Lee.

Lee claimed to be either working undercover for 'cnb', at a casino, or selling luxury goods, depending on who he was talking to.

In his Facebook post, Low shared this:

Chris lee has approached a few of my friends and people i know, to borrow money or to get people to invest, sometimes claiming he working for a casino boss sometimes as a cnb officer. According to friends, he has managed to con some of their money then started threatening. As for me, i am fortunate that i am aware about him if not i will be a victim too.

Please have a look at our conversation, i am not the kind of person who will discredit anyone on social media but i feel i have to warn the people i know so as not to fall victim into his traps. He is very persistant. So i decided to block and delete him.

Others have subsequently shared screenshots of the conversations they had with Lee which also showed Lee attempting to get people to either meet him or to give him money.

Here's how the failed hustle began:

It started off with Lee asking Low if he wanted to "make big money" off luxury goods, complete with a photograph of stacks of cash to legitimise the whole thing:

When Low did not take the bait, Lee switched tactics:

Yup Lee is "cnb", and he REALLY REALLY wants to meet up and make Low an undercover "cnb":

"Io Lao" is supposedly Lee's handler. So undercover, much infernal affairs:

Lee tries hard to reach out emotionally to Low, only to be let down by his grammar, syntax, and logic:

Seeing how his walls of text failed to convince Low, Lee tried a different approach and said everything he said was all a joke:

Bait taken! Low responds to Lee! All aboard the non-stop "Ur name alrd cfm cnb" train commandeered by Lee:

No stopping now, get ready those passport photographs, Low!

He tried this "cnb" tactic again with someone else, this time promising half a million baht (including pictures of a Lamborghini to legitimise everything):

Unfortunately for Lee, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has sent out this advisory today about incidents of impersonation.
