TV actor Christopher Lee bumps into parked car while reversing, does the right thing immediately

Christopher Lee – not Count Dooku or Saruman (RIP though), but of Mediacorp fame – bumped into a parked car while leaving a hawker centre in Sembawang today (Dec. 8).

According to a witness, Lee was reversing his black MPV when he bumped into the white sports car. Both his wife and son were in the vehicle when the accident happened.

Lee immediately got off his car and looked for the car owner but after 15 minutes of fruitless searching, he left a written note on the windscreen.

Oh, look. Besides the bump, the car owner was also awarded a parking ticket.

For the 44-year-old, who won the Best Lead Actor award at the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards last year, he's no stranger to automobile accidents.

He was found guilty of drink-driving and hit-and-run charges after he hit a motorcyclist and pillion rider in 2006 and was subsequently jailed four weeks, fined $4,500 and banned from driving for three years.

But this time round, he did the right thing. Unlike this guy:

He drove to the exit after hitting your car and came out to check the damage on his own car when he thought no one was watching. When he saw me taking photos of him, he got anxious and started taking videos and said that he wanted to sue me for filming him. As he drove off, he said see you in court. We didn't leave our contact for you because we were worried that he will come back and make trouble with our numbers.
