Late Lee Kuan Yew's children would still like to honour father's wish to have Oxley Road house demolished

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has said in his personal capacity as the late Lee Kuan Yew's son that he and his two other siblings would wish to see the house at 38 Oxley Road demolished.

The joint statement also said that the prime minister states explicitly that he has excused himself from the government's decision on whether to demolish or preserve the house because of a potential conflict of interest.

The statement also said that Lee Hsien Loong and Lee Hsien Yang have each agreed to donate half the value of 38 Oxley Road to the charities named in the late Lee Kuan Yew's obituary notice.

Singaporeans are urged to support the cause that honours the late Lee Kuan Yew's wish for the demolition of the house.
