A Singaporean woman claimed on Twitter that a Caucasian man shouted vulgarities and directed anti-Islam comments at her.
The incident allegedly occurred at Tanah Merah MRT station on Wednesday evening, Nov. 18, 2015.
Since then, her tweet has been retweeted widely as Singaporeans and everyone else have responded overwhelmingly by showing support for her by offering words of encouragement or commiserating with her.
This is her tweet:
Was waiting for a train at Tanah Merah mrt station & a caucasian guy shouted "Fuck You." at me,saying how much he hates islam and left. Wow.
