Man released from prison after 44 years; experiences what it is like to travel to the future

It's not exactly Back to the Future.

This thought-provoking video, titled My Life After 44 Years in Jail, from Al Jazeera English, features 69 year-old Otis Johnson, an American citizen who just finished a 44-year prison term in 2014.

What will pique your interest is his reaction to how people and the world have changed because of advances in technology — like how people seem to be able to walk without looking where they go but at their phones instead; or how water comes in all sorts of different colours, a la Gatorade.

More importantly, what will touch you is how despite having to play catch-up on all the technological mumbo-jumbo, Johnson displays something many of us can play catch-up to — humanity.
