Fitness Chain Pure Fitness is the ultimate pao tou kia (read: tattletale).

This after they told their gym members in Singapore on Monday, Oct. 26, that its gym at Knightsbridge, a four-storey luxury shopping center in Orchard Road that is currently also housing Abercrombie & Fitch, will close on Dec. 15 to make space for the first Apple Store in the country opening in late 2016:

This was one of two emails sent to gym members.

Here's the other:

Apparently, the gym and the other tenants in the building are handing the space back to the landlord.

Currently, Apple does not have an official retail presence in Singapore, but there is the online store and nübox, an Apple-authorised premium reseller.

Apple has been seeking a retail space for some time.
