S'poreans are killing Workers' Party's East Coast GRC candidate Daniel Goh with kindness

They have repeatedly bludgeoned him with love and support.

Workers' Party East Coast GRC candidate Daniel Goh has put up a note to call attention to how he has been struck with goodwill and hammered with affirmation the past week.

This was what he wrote:

So much kindness shown this season. This morning, a man bought us packs of coffee at the market visit; I drank a packet and it was extra sweet. Yesterday, a family kept a bag of drinks in their fridge to give us if we dropped by for house visit; we did and I drank a bottle of thoughtfulness. The day before, a man gave me his OCK spring roll on the LRT to the Punggol rally, told me that it was just a small token as it was what he could afford; I ate it after the rally with gratitude. The other day, I was waiting on the roadside, and a man drove past, reversed, wound down his window, greeted me, "Dr Goh!" and asked if he could give me a ride; I declined with much thanks as I was waiting for Fairoz to pick me up. And so many of you, young to elderly, man and woman, have come up to me to pat me on my shoulders, take a selfie and shake my hands, giving me strength through these little human touches that mean the blue sky to me. Thank you!
