The oddly-shaped constituency is the sum total of different parts of Singapore: Bedok, Braddell, Serangoon, Kembangan, Chai Chee, Marine Parade, Paya Lebar and Geylang Serai.
Yes. Long story short, it's a big territory.
It's little wonder why the People's Action Party (PAP) Marine Parade GRC team is working doubly hard during the hustings. You know, there's only like 24 hours a day. And there's thousands of people to meet.
And no wonder the candidates Goh Chok Tong, Tan Chuan-Jin, Seah Kian Peng, Edwin Tong and Fatimah Lateef are working their asses off.
