The following piece of news is rated "It will warm the cockles of your heart".

After being labelled "the strawberry generation" and "self-centred" by previous Generations, you can add "compassionate" to the list of adjectives describing Millennials.

Aishah Lim posted on Facebook yesterday that she witnessed an act by a 20-year-old guy called Charles that restored her faith in humanity.

At Texas Chicken in Causeway Point, the Republic Polytechnic student was spotted buying a tray of food for, according to Aishah, an intellectually disabled guy who was eating someone's leftovers.

The Good Samaritan then said: "Here, eat this. Do not eat the leftovers anymore."

Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Charles.
