Attention bros of S'pore, insane Hello Kitty queues expected at most 7-Eleven outlets at the end of May

The mouthless feline puts relationships to the test once again. This time, as an EZ-Link charm.

EZ Link - the company with a product that resides in most Singaporeans' bags/wallets/purses - earlier today announced a piece of news every bro in Singapore hates to hear.

It is going to sell Hello Kitty charms that double as an EZ Link card at 7-Eleven outlets at the end of May.

Altogether now:

no arnie

no luke

no thor

With over 1,800 shares (and counting) on The Straits Times and EZ Link Facebook page, you don't need a creative mind to imagine the length of the queue. All names are blacked out to protect the bros.

The Sabo Games have begun.

No words are needed when the arrow is shot.

If Singapore's appetite for the mouthless pussy cat is as insatiable as it proved throughout the years, then be prepared for some epic snaking queues and cat fights when you purchase your instant mash potatoes and cigarettes at 7-Eleven outlets starting with the first one at the end of May.

Wait a minute, there's more than one?

Let's play Count Dracula. One...

FOUR EZ link charms to replace the soulless cards we carry around every day.

Four pussycats at $24.90 each (with absolutely no stored value) to charm the socks off your wife/girlfriend/mother. That's right, folks, a cat head measuring 3.3cm by 2.5cm by 0.5cm is going for a real steal at just $24.90.

Starting from the end of May, you can purchase the red and pink versions at 7-Eleven outlets (except airport and petrol kiosks). The stylo, black cat will be available at the end of June. The blue one is only available when commuters accumulate 5,000 points on their EZ-Link reward scheme with Perx.

Yes, every bus/train ride now earns you 25 points if you link your EZ-Link card/charm with Perx. But let's keep our focus here, please.

If you have money to blow, you can drop $99.60 for the complete set of charms online on April 30, which means you can skip the entire point collection process but it also means you are taking the easy way out, which equates to lack of effort. And that is why some bros get friendzoned.

To give it the glass half full or empty treatment, you can see it as some 40 plates of chicken rice or a lifetime of appreciation from your other half (Note: a lifetime means the duration women have to wait until the next Hello Kitty gimmick comes along. And that explains why cats have nine lives, it's all relative).

Just pray that EZ Link doesn't screw it up with limited stocks.
