From a skinny kampung boy having kickabouts to scoring a goal against Italian giant Inter Milan, you'd probably think that you know all about the legendary story of Fandi Ahmad.

Until this video comes along.

Created specially for the 28th edition of the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and directed by Zhao Wei Film's Nicole Midori Woodford, this video chronicles the humble beginnings of Singapore's favourite footballing son, from his relationship with his late father, former Singapore goalkeeper Ahmad Wartam, to scoring a goal in the Lion City Cup final.

Warning: It's quite emo.
