Spanking new Class 95 DJs Muttons' latest comments offend Glenn "Egoman" Ong

Glenn Ong is pissed. Maybe they are talking about Flying Dutchman Mark van Cuylenburg and Bobby Tonelli?

The man harbouring hopes of being the "most powerful man on radio" is offended again.

After his frank criticism of Nicholas Lee's (is Ronnie, sorry can't resist) futuristic drama 2025, ex-Class 95FM DJ Glenn Ong is currently offended by the Muttons, who took over his morning show slot recently on March 2, 2015.

In an article published in 8 Days in their March 19, 2015 issue, the Muttons made out of Vernon A and Justin Ang, kind of said that DJs who left recently were deadwood.

8 Days: So, why did those DJs leave?

Vernon: Well, for a lot of them, it wasn't their choice.

Justin: I would say that for almost all of them who have left, there's a reason the company didn't bother to keep them.

Vernon: For many years, ratings never bothered us 'cos we were the biggest and only player, but because of the current competition, it's a battlefield. So you really have to cut what you don't need and get people you need - hence we have Jamie Yeo coming back and all. It's kind of like a war strategy, to fight the competition.

Justin: You know how Hitler would bring the weak soldiers into a room and shoot them, then conscript the young, stronger guys? (emphasis mine)

Although the Muttons didn't name anyone, there were just a handful of DJs who left recently: Flying Dutchman Mark van Cuylenburg, Bobby Tonelli and Ong.

Ong took offence and tweeted his views once again.

And he repeated the Hitler reference three times.

Former 987FM DJ Dee Kosh (now Power 98 DJ) stirred the pot further.

Another former (what's with all these ex Mediacorp employees?) 987FM, now Power 98 DJ Young Leong sided with Glenn.

We are (kinda) still waiting for the real radio legend Brian Richmond's views on this brouhaha. He's probably just gonna say: "Haha."

Not that the Muttons give two flying kambings anyway.
