If there is one song you should listen to in honour of Lee Kuan Yew today, this is it

This song perfectly encapsulates what LKY would want us to do.

Some heavyweights in the local music industry gathered other heavyweights to produce this rendition of Majulah Singapura as a tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

There is no better song to embody the Singapore spirit that Lee wanted every Singaporean to possess.

Here's the message behind this tribute video:

A tribute to Lee Kuan Yew. Onward Singapore.

“To the young and to the not so old, I say, look at that horizon, follow that rainbow, go ride it.”

Some from the music industry came together to record this rendition of the Singapore national anthem to pay tribute to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew and to encourage Singaporeans to unite and continue his legacy. Over a short two days, everything was put together for the video to be ready by 29 March - the day of his funeral. Farewell Mr Lee. Majulah Singapura.

Stefanie Sun Yanzi and Agnes Yue were in China and could not record in the studio with us but they sent us their audio recordings so we could mix into this music video. They shared this with us:

"His passing is an indescribable weight on our shoulders as our Singapore team went onward to put up our show in Shenzhen. We knew we would be flying our flag when we put out the best show we could possibly do. Onward Singapore." - Sun Yanzi

"Your monumental contributions in making Singapore what it is today...will remain in our minds forever. Thank you Mr KY Lee...YOU ARE THE MAN" - Agnes Yue

And from Edric Hsu: "Thank you, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. May you continue to inspire us to be even better Singaporeans and work together towards a better home nation!"
