Amos Yee was arrested by the police on Monday. He was charged in court on Tuesday for a YouTube video he produced that contained remarks against Christianity with the deliberate intention of wounding the religious feelings of Christians.

He is also being charged for transmitting an obscene image, believed to be a cartoon or caricature of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Mr Lee in an unflattering sexual depiction.

The last charge against him is of him making an insulting video clip online containing remarks about Mr Lee which was intended to be heard and seen by persons likely to be distressed by the same.
