Singapore's Budget 2015 is hailed as "budget boost for the middle class" for its help to childcare, school and training expenses (The Straits Times) or a "Robin-Hood" budget (Bloomberg) for its tax on the rich.

We know that many of our Mothership.sg readers feel poor and probably felt that they do not belong to the middle-class. That's probably why they prefer to read free news from us.

Based on our own web analytics in January, many of Mothership.sg readers:

1. belong to the 25-34 years age bracket (47.12%).

2. and the 18-24 years age bracket (20.92%).

Hence, we decided to make a few assumptions and guess how Budget 2015 will affect a Mothership.sg reader:

- Personal income tax rebate of 50% capped at $1,000 (if s/he is not unemployed)

- $500 SkillsFuture Credit for him/her (if s/he is the same age or older than Jennifer Lawrence)

- A reduction of disposable income and an increase in CPF savings (if s/he earns $6,000 or more)

- $150 or $300 worth of GST Vouchers (if s/he is one year younger than Ariana Grande and if her house is not so big)

- 1.5-2 months of rebates on Service and Conservancy charges (if s/he owns a 3-,4-or 5-room flat)

- Wavier of fees for PSLE, 'N', 'O', 'A' levels exams (if s/he is still studying. Poor thing!)

- Claim tax deductions of 300 per cent (if s/he is feeling charitable this year)

- Lower maid levy of $60 a month (if s/he is rich enough to hire a foreign domestic worker)

- 15-20 cent/increase in petrol duty and a one-year road tax rebate (if s/he is rich enough to own a car)
