It must be good fengshui.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force fire engine, like all shoppers, found it hard to leave VivoCity, as it sank into the area outside the mall on the evening of Jan. 19, 2015.

No hoses and hunky firemen were hurt but several tiles on the pavement were badly damaged.

This version of an urban quicksand happened at around 6.05pm when the fire engine was moving off after a routine fire safety inspection.

Water was being drained from the truck as Operation Save Face began. As of 9pm, it was still stuck.

As of the press time, its fate remains up in the air, or rather, down in the dumps.
