One is a Catholic; the other is a Taoist. But having two different religions did not stop them from respecting both their faiths on their wedding day.
Secretary-General of the Taoist Federation Youth Group Chung Kwang Tong got hitched last Sunday (Jan. 4) to his girlfriend of 10 years Jacqueline Yip, who is a Catholic. They had two separate wedding ceremonies: the earlier one at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour and another one at at San Qing Gong Temple.

The 30-year-old was even decked out in Taoist robes while Yip, 28, was dressed in a traditional "Kua" wedding dress. Check out the awesomeness:
They attended a church service in the morning.
According to The Straits Times, about 50 guests of different faiths attended both ceremonies.
And it's little wonder why.
Chung is a council member on the Inter-Religious Organisation and religious leaders from the council attended the wedding dinner at Regent Hotel. In fact, he is the youngest council member of the 31-member IRO, which promotes inter-religious harmony.
He said: "We have similar value systems, moulded by our different faiths. We should embrace any differences."
Here's to a lifetime of blissful marriage, both of you.
In the words of "Baby" Minister Grace Fu, we look "forward to celebrating the arrival of more SG babies on Singapore’s 50th Birthday!"
