Our guardians, our mentors, and our guidance. These are the things our parents will always be. Even when you're 60 and wrinkly they will always dispense their 'advice and friendly reminders'.

To be exact, they will nag you when they have the opportunity. Here are 10 you surely kena before:

1.Parents know best it seems. Even when you're an adult. When they were 40 and you were 10, they were right. When you are 40 and they are 70, they will still be more right than you.

2.The bravest kids would reply 'last time the police wore shorts.' If you don't like to hear this, make sure you don't use them own your own kids.

3. Eat already ah? Never mind, you come drink soup at least.

Probably a very Cantonese/Chinese thing to do. No space for food? You have space for soup.

4.Parent logic: If there is still food on the table, it means you're not full.

5. Did you close all the windows before you left the house?

You're not even allowed a little open gap to exist if no one's at home. The house will flood and collapse if it rains.

6.It's all about 'spreading the love'. They want smaller versions of you to nag at as well!

7.They are right on this count. Home-cooked food is the best.

8. Have many people have actually caught a cold because of wet hair? It's more likely to happen when you don't get enough rest.

9.They need to know so they can decide whether to lock up every last padlock in the house, because a burglar is waiting for the day they let their guard down.

10.  The only way you are sufficiently packed for a holiday is when you pack them along for the trip.
