Some kid tries to do a 'Koi' at Starbucks, gets slammed instead

The sense of entitlement is quite high

You must have read this story: Ms Gia Munaji Salamat was insulted by a staff at Boon Lay MRT's KOI Express on Saturday (Oct. 25, 2014). The staff, a foreign student by the name of Rachel, told her to "go away you ugly b****".

Ms Gia Munaji subsequently posted a video of what happened and two days later, KOI sacked Rachel.

In another beverage chain-related complaint, one Huixin Yap posted this on Starbucks Singapore Facebook page:

Long story short: The teenager and her friends left the cafe for 30 minutes and returned with their drinks cleared and books set aside.

Being the self-entitled millennials that they are, her friend demanded for a new cup of coffee only to be given a half-filled one, which - if you think about it - is actually quite a good deal for the Generation X.

While Ms Gia Munaji had a much stronger case as she was verbally abused, the teenager, who felt "disrespected and humiliated", was almost universally slammed by netizens for her how-could-you-do-this-to-me rant.

We can go on, but you get the drift. Facing backlash as strong as this, the teenager has since removed that post.

And here's Starbucks Singapore reply:

But hey, she's just a secondary school kid. Let this be a learning experience for her.
