Videos of the Teo Chew Festival 2014 are making the rounds on Facebook and boy, are they infectious.

Created by local ad agency 10AM and sang to the tune of Jambalaya, the videos feature performers of various age groups.

There's one featuring two cute kids.

 

Another with a bunch of perfectly harmonised, dapper guys.

 

A classical one.

 

And a love story. Well, almost.

 

Judging from the number of shares and likes on these videos, dialect in Singapore is well and truly alive, despite the best efforts of MDA to mute it.

The Teo Chew Festival is happening at Ngee Ann City from Sept. 25 to Oct. 5, 2014.
