PM goes radio gaga.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong went on radio for the first time on the evening of Sept. 1, 2014.

Long story short, he made 5 key points in his hour-long discussion on Capital 95.8FM.

1. He discouraged CPF members to withdraw funds at age 55.

And that's due to the fact that people might live longer. PM Lee also encouraged members to work till 65 if they can.

2. There won't be Lease Buyback scheme for private property owners.

Not yet, at least for now. PM Lee said the government will look into other schemes for private property owners. In the meantime, these owners can monetise by selling their private property and moving into a HDB flat.

3. He said the Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) and Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) must achieve balance.

PM Lee said that the GRCs and SMCs serve different roles. That's why it is necessary that the electoral boundaries committee maintain a balance.

4. Scholars are not favoured over non-scholars in public service.

Do scholars in the public service have more opportunities and promoted faster than non-scholars?

"No."

5. How he felt being on radio for the first time.

"As I've never been on a radio show since I entered politics, I'm exceptionally nervous today."

If PM can do the National Day Rally, what's a radio show?

And here's PM Lee's signature in Chinese:
