Is this trolling or the mother of all coincidences?

A Singaporean man has filed a police report in Johor Baru after he deemed the local fried rice, also known as nasi goreng kampung, was too spicy.

A copy of the police report found its way to the Internet via social media on the night of May 5, 2014, and naturally, caused a riot online.

News website The Rakyat Post reported on the matter, saying that the man, who is from Taman Jurong, had eaten the fried rice at a shop along Jalan Bukit Timbalan.

The spiciness had, allegedly, lasted for one day and lingered in the man's tummy.

An excerpt from the police report reads:

“Around 9pm on 30 April, I went to eat at a shop which I can’t recall the name. After I ordered the nasi goreng kampung and warm water, I had my meal, I found that it was extremely hot and too spicy."

“Until today (May 1) I can still taste the spiciness from the rice I ate yesterday. I suspect that they cooked the rice with too much chilli."

“The reason why I am making this report is because I am very unhappy with the rice I ate and wish to go to a hospital for a checkup.”

Johor Baru (South) deputy police chief Supt Abdul Samad Salleh, declined to elaborate further on whether or not they will pursue the matter.

And according to the Singapore address recorded in the police report, the postal code Singapore 610116 corresponds to Ho Ching Road, which is located at the western part of Singapore.

Ho Ching is coincidentally the name of Prime Minister's Lee Hsien Loong's wife.
