S'porean lady went from being called 'fat' to MMA fighter who will beat the respect out of you

She's probably stronger than most guys now.

In an awe-inspiring profile recently that will make most men look weak, a Singaporean lady has redefined the meaning of tenacity.

The lady, pictured above on the left, was picked on by her peers because she was 67kg at her heaviest and considered fat during her secondary school and polytechnic years.

Pictured on the right is the same lady, who is now 23 years old, standing at 1.6m tall, but weighing in at 52kg.

This is Sherilyn Lim, who is Singapore's rare gem: A professional mixed martial arts (MMA) practitioner signed to One Fighting Championship (One FC).

Becoming lean is not her only claim to fame.

Last October, she took on Ann Osman from Malaysia in her One FC debut fight, which she won by judges' decision after three brutal, face-thumping rounds.

Here are some of the highlights:

That's Sherilyn in black tights, displaying how her conversation with her secondary school and polytechnic peers will be like if she meets them today:

And this is her again, this time introducing the concept of respect:
