This campaign video might be proof Koh Poh Koon doesn't want to run for office again

There is a difference between humour and cringe-worthy.

Guess who's back and with another campaign to boot?

It's Dr Koh Poh Koon, the losing People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for 2013 Punggol East by-election.

A colorectal surgeon, Dr Koh is back this time with a video that wants to raise consciousness of your anus.

He advises us that there are three ways of bringing down the incidence of colorectal cancer 1) Screening; 2) Early Diagnosis; and 3) Effective Treatment.

However, the campaign, like his previous election campaign, is muddled, too corny (Remember "Son of Punggol" anyone?) and off-message.

One aim of this health campaign is to inform us that colorectal cancer is the number 1 cancer in Singapore.

Well, actually this fun fact wasn't even stated in the video. We had to look for it and put it in this article to make it more informative.

And the other aim is perhaps to inform us that Koh Poh Koon doesn't want to run for office again.

Why?

Take a look at the stills from the video titled Colon vs. Colon (what?): The difference between humour and cringe-worthy is that humour is actually funny.
