Defending Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel claimed pole position for tonight's SingTel Singapore Grand Prix (SGP). He was followed by compatriot Nico Rosberg for Mercedes-Benz and Lotus' Romain Grosjean.
Last year's SGP winner Vettel stormed closer to his fourth straight world title as he clocked the fastest-ever pole position at the Grand Prix.
In F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone's words, Singapore Grand Prix is still F1's "crown jewel".

Lotus Pit and Garage
Lotus did well at the qualifying battle, with Romain Grosjean and Kimi Raikkonen starting at 3rd and 13th respectively.

American alternative rock band The Killers was the headline band for the F1 concert on Saturday. They performed for close to an hour and a half.
Their parting shot: "I'm sorry it's taken us 10 years, (to come here) we've had a wonderful time"
