I know, I know. Think Singapore and you'd think food, some sit-down place with ambience and shopping hunts.
But come on, our little red dot is definitely more than that.
And because we love you, we've done our homework -- here’s presenting five other things you could do on a weekday.
Yes, one for every day of the week!
#1. Belt it out at the Musical Theatre Monday Singapore

The Video Music Awards is over (and hey, did you catch JT, damn), but you can still knock yourselves out with some of our own talented homegrown acts. Better still if you've got it, flaunt it!
A social coming-together of theatre fans from all demographics, Musical Theatre Monday Singapore happens every first Monday of the month (unless otherwise stated), and venues are to-be-confirmed.
Tickets cost $15, depending on venue.
Psst. A little bird told me that they are eyeing the next to be on September so keep your eyes peeled here!
Venue: TAB at 442 Orchard Rd, $8 at the door.
#2 Laugh yourselves silly at local stand-Ups
Tickle that funny bone, unleash that tsunami cyclical roars of laughter and let endorphin engulf you.
Euphrosyne -- God of merriment and cheer -- definitely lurks within comedy club nights.
Join local comedians, expats and special guests appearances who are all trying to be funny.
Take your pick between Tuesday nights at Comedy Masala, Home Club.
Or Wednesdays with The Comedy Club Asia, Blu Jaz Cafe.
Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh.
So do check them out, or better still, play sabotage and sign your funny friends up for one of these open mic events. No auditions required.

#3 Salsa the Rhumbas, soak up the Zoukaas
Dance, the hidden language of the soul. The vertical expression of a horizontal desire.
Sway your hips, tap your feet, dancer or not, take your pick.

The list of Latin dances are endless but the beauty of all of them is that they are nothing but gorgeous. No one dance genre is superior to the other but since we're on the topic of activities you could do, may I suggest this.
Whether be it on a date, fun with friends in working up a sweat or just out to meet new friends, social dancing is a great confidence booster, a novel way to meet people, and best of all, the endorphin rush.

Both the Union Square at the Amara & Cuba Libre Cafe & Bar play Latin Music every six nights a week, Mondays to Saturdays from 9pm onwards via DJs & live Latin American bands.
Best of all you don’t have to be an expert at this - beginner nights are on Tuesdays at Union Square.
Let the music take control over your body with Latin music.
